Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate a range of software-related projects, including proof of concept testing, software trials, product upgrades, and customer-facing implementations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and have experience managing multiple concurrent projects across various customer accounts.
You will work closely with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Sales) and external teams to ensure successful project delivery from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of software projects, including PoCs, trials, upgrades, and implementations.
- Coordinate with customers to define project scopes, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Track and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with internal and customer teams to review progress and resolve blockers.
- Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to support technical evaluations and PoCs.
- Ensure software deployments and upgrades are executed smoothly and documented properly.
- Maintain clear communication across all teams — internal and external.
- Manage project budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Continuously improve project management processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in project management for software or technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing projects, including trials and PoCs.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer relationships simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or system integrations.
- Experience with software versioning, upgrades, and release management.
- Technical background or ability to understand software architecture and deployment concepts.
- Background in telecommunications industry a plus.
