High-speed internet demand continues to increase. To keep up with that demand, FastTrack is updating its locally owned and managed fiber network throughout Colorado and New Mexico. This crucial upgrade includes the 1FINITY Lambda and Transport series blades deployed in a Colorless, Directionless ROADM (CD ROADM) network with in-line amplification and up to 200G data rates. It will also match site requirements and offer a scalable, pay-as-you-grow approach.

To update its fiber optic network, FastTrack Communications has selected Fujitsu Network Communications Inc’s modular 1FINITY™ optical networking platform. Together, LightRiver and Fujitsu are augmenting a mission-critical network for FastTrack, empowering greater network capacity, agility, and scalability with a disaggregated architecture based on the 1FINITY platform to boost network capacity, agility and scalability.

This level of improved flexibility, capacity and reach allows FastTrack’s modernized network to offer high-speed internet connectivity, VoIP services and mission-critical data transport to business customers and enterprises at peak operational efficiency.
