LightRiver builds mission critical networks for service providers, content providers, data centers, electric utilities, and water departments. The critical infrastructure networks we support are vital data communication links, especially given the challenges presented by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). As we continue to support these essential transport networks, LightRiver has implemented several precautionary procedures that reflect LightRiver’s focus on the health of our employees and customers, along with ensuring compliance with public health guidance currently in place to address COVID-19. Across LightRiver’s workforce, we have implemented the following precautionary measures:

All employees are reminded daily to “DO the FIVE” preventative steps. Any LightRiver employee experiencing flu-like symptoms including fever, sore throat, or dry cough is being requested not enter LightRiver offices, visit customer locations, or travel for business.

All LightRiver employee air travel requires Vice President approval to ensure travel is for essential business activities. Travel for the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of customer networks is considered essential and is being approved. All LightRiver Field Engineering team members who are deployed are including in their regular daily written reports a self-diagnosis that they are not experiencing any flu like symptoms.

The vast majority of LightRiver’s business is domestic, regardless anyone who has traveled internationally within the past three weeks is prohibited from visiting LightRiver offices and is not being allowed to travel on business or to any customer site locations.

LightRiver’s executive team is monitoring this rapidly developing situation daily and following the recommendations of national and local public health authorities; and, we are honoring all of our customer precautionary policies. LightRiver will update our COVID-19 policy measures promptly as required. If you have additional questions regarding LightRiver’s response to the Coronavirus, please contact Greg Byrne, Vice President of Professional Services at 408.891.8342 or at gbyrne@lightriver.com.
