We are excited to officially welcome to the LightRiver team, Russ Schomber! As our new Vice President of Factory and Field Operations, Russ will join us in our Sarasota, FL office, and will be an instrumental member of our operations team, overseeing the integration of our next generation, multi-vendor, Factory Built Networks® .
Russ brings more than two decades of telecommunications experience and a rich background in designing, engineering, deploying and managing carrier grade networks. His past roles include Vice President of Engineering, Vice President of Network Services, Senior Vice President Engineering and Operations and Senior Vice President Network Integration for fiber networks. He has also held positions at companies Uniti Fiber, FiberTower, and NEON Communications.
Backing his professional experience is a rock-solid core of educational experience. Mr. Schomber received his M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, M.S. Electrical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology and a B.S. Electrical Engineering from New York University – Polytechnic School of Engineering.
