Every year, we look forward to late June when we head to New York for one of the best telecom networking events in the industry – Telecom Exchange. This year’s event did not disappoint, with a neutral networking exhibit floor, one-on-one meetings, and informative (packed!) CEO roundtables featuring industry experts.
Mike Jonas, LightRiver President Global Sales and Marketing, and Walt Paskowski, Senior VP, Vertical Sales, were both in attendance at the longstanding event. They had the chance to discuss a variety of LightRiver initiatives, including our recent acquisition of Unique Computer Services, and of course our turnkey design, commission and management for next-generation transport networks for carrier grade clients. Many TEX attendees were interested in our multi-vendor Factory Built Network® (FBN) and netFlex® Transport Domain Network Orchestration, along with our expertise in Packet Optical, DWDM/ROADM, MPLS and Carrier Ethernet systems.
Mike and Walt also spend at good amount of time discussing FBN with our partners, along with folks who were less familiar with this cutting edge process that offers up to 50 percent faster deployment, reduced time to service and revenue, better test, more reliable networks and turnkey network solutions customized to meet the needs of your business.
As usual, TEX was one of our most successful and productive shows of the year, and we look forward to its next event in LA.
The rest of the summer will slow down a bit, as fewer events take place. But we will be back at it with the Utilities Technology Council (UTC) Regions 1 & 2 Combined Meeting Sept. 6 to 8 in Galloway, NJ, followed by the UTC Region 3 Fall Meeting and Expo Oct. 4 to 5, in Myrtle Beach, SC and the INCOMPAS Show Oct. 15 to 17 in San Francisco.
If you are attending either of these events and would like to set a meeting, drop us a note at jsa_lightriver@jaymiescotto.com.
