Platform Solution

Leveraging Marvell’s leadership in PAM DSP technology, Linear Drivers and TIAs, COLORZ fits in a QSFP28 hot pluggable form factor and delivers up to 4Tb/s of bandwidth over a single fiber. This hot-swappable device plugs into any QSFP28 100G Ethernet port of any standard switch or router. COLORZ offers enhanced monitoring and link diagnostic capabilities. Ultimately, COLORZ enables enterprise, service providers and cloud operators to scalable and easy-to-deploy 100G Ethernet services in their networks.

Network Connectivity

COLORZ can be used in several network edge applications including, traffic aggregation, broadband/wireless backhaul and linking central offices to data centers. These applications are ideal for traditional carriers or cable multiservice operators looking to simplify their network architecture and add pay as you grow 100G capacity. COLORZ provides the required connectivity and aggregation for a range of service types from customer locations, or edge offices, to the regional point of presence.

COLORZ II 400ZR QSFP-DD

COLORZ II is the industry’s first 400ZR QSFP-DD pluggable coherent transceiver for DCIs to major cloud operators and OEMs. COLORZ II enables large cloud operators to connect metro data centers at a fraction of the cost of traditional coherent transport systems and allows switch and router companies to offer the same density for both coherent DWDM and client optics in the same chassis. For end users looking for performance beyond 400ZR, Marvell’s Canopus™ 7nm coherent DSP offers a multitude of reach and data rate options for metro and long haul performance. COLORZ II is also the first publicly announced product that meets the OIF standards for the interoperable 400ZR standard.

Marvell’s COLORZ-Lite™ now offers campus and data centers a cost optimized solution for shorter distances. COLORZ-Lite brings flexibility, time to market and ease of service delivery to cloud network operators constrained by fiber exhaustion or for applications requiring extended reaches which cannot be cost effectively achieved with Grey optics.
