In May of 2017, we announced our partnership with SEL to together offer communication networking technology, solutions, and services that deliver the performance and security required for demanding industrial control system and utility applications.
In a world that doesn’t stop, SEL has great strength in developing innovative products that are dependable and can withstand harsh environments for the always ever-demanding applications that consume us today. Add LightRiver’s experience in designing and commission a wide range and local area networks and you have a combination for success. Currently, our partnership focuses on providing turnkey solutions based on SEL’s software-designed networking (SDN), managed Ethernet, and Integrated Communications Optical Network (ICON) platforms.
Furthermore, we work together to implement technologies that meet the wide-area and local-area networking needs of industrial control system (ICS), operational technology (OT), and information technology (IT) networks.
