LightRiver’s award-winning path has been active these last few years, but to be recognized for a new solution is even more thrilling! This year, our Alien Aware Networking solution has been recognized as a high-score recipient for the 2021 Lightwave Innovation Reviews.
If you haven’t heard, we’ve been ‘embracing the alien’ for some time now and have coined the term Alien Aware Networking to support the design/engineering, build/deploy, and advanced automation of Open Optical networks. The solution embraces alien wavelengths allowing them to be readily monitored, analyzed, and managed end-to-end, no matter what suppliers or technologies are leveraged within a single network operator, or across multiple interconnected operator networks.
Submitted for the SDN/NFV Technology category, the solution must have been excellent with technical features and performance that provide clear and substantial benefits in order to receive a high-score.
