Wow, what a year! It’s hard to fathom how quickly it has gone by; but time flies when you’re having fun! 2019 held many monumental moments for LightRiver and we’re taking the time to reflect, as well as fill you in on what’s to come in 2020.

The year of 2019 started off on an exciting note. In the first six months of the year alone, we were honored to receive Pacific Telecommunications Council’s Best Intelligence Innovation award, Lightwave’s Innovation Reviews for the SDN/NFV Technology category; Pipeline’s Innovation Award as runner-up for the ‘Innovations in Assurance’ category, all for our netFLEX® platform’ and one of the top 2019 Tech Elite Solution Providers by CRN®. Additionally, LightRiver was recognized by Infinera as North America Partner of the Year for 2019; and by Ciena as Global Elite Partner 2019.

In the latter part of the year, LightRiver was recognized as a finalist in 2019 MEF Awards for the ‘Technology Solutions – Service Assurance’ category for its netFLEX Optical Assurance Automation solution. Additionally, LightRiver was shortlisted for the Best SDN / NFV Deployment by the Capacity Global Carrier Awards.

In 2019, LightRiver also introduced to the market the intelligent Factory Built Network (iFBN)™, our proactive approach to network health, where all critical data is collected and analyzed for realtime or trended (predicted) action. iFBN is the integration of two LightRiver products: The Factory Built Network® and the netFLEX platform, and works to ensure that a network is deployed with customized analytics and outcomes as programmed upfront, when the network is first built-and-baselined.

Much to our delight, iFBN picked up its first award; for the 2019 Fierce Innovation Awards – Telecom Edition, in the ‘Network Test and Measurement’ category.

While 2019 will be a hard year to beat in terms of award wins, we have a lot more coming down the pipe for our netFLEX and iFBN products in the new year, so please stand by for future exciting updates! Lastly for 2019, to round out the record-breaking year,

LightRiver also announced and celebrated our grand opening at the iconic Bell Works building in Holmdel, NJ. We enjoyed the celebration with fellow customers, partners and media over the course of the two-day summit. In 2020, we look forward to hosting more education and networking events for our customers, vendors and industry peers.

With the award wins, new product developments and PTC’20 just around the corner (keep your eyes out for news on our COO, Travis Ewert’s, topical session!), LightRiver has no intent of slowing down in 2020. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on our upcoming news and announcements. See you in the New Year!
